some interesting current events have happened since i came to michigan.
1. hurricane isaac hit the us the week i arrived
2. pastor josiah came to serve and living water was formed
3. 2013 is the year of the snake, my chinese zodiac is the snake (1989)
4. america’s most famous film critic, roger ebert, passed away. (significant to me because i am a film & media studies major)
lately i’ve been praying to become more assertive and outgoing (i am a relatively reserved person). i think though this prayer derives from selfish motives and is influenced by secularity. i pray without knowing that this is how god has made me. he’s probably made me in a way to be more reserved and yet i fail to see that and demand to have a different personality.
need to stop sleeping late
start waking up early and start drinking coffee and start having breakfast
